How long do lash extensions last?

Extensions will grow with your natural lash and fall out with your natural lash however we naturally shed on average 1-5 natural lashes a day so it depends on your lash growth cycle, the way you take care of them will also affect how long they last, please follow our aftercare. We recommend coming back for infills every 2-3 weeks.

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes if applied correctly by a lash artist. You must never pick or pull your lashes or sleep on your face as this will cause damage. Getting regular infills is also very important as we remove all the outgrown lashes and replace with new ones.

Why do I need infills every 2 - 3 weeks when my lashes last up to 6 weeks? 

Getting infills is so important as this plays a huge role in preventing your natural lashes from getting damaged. We place the lash extension on the base of your natural lash 1mm away from the eye. This is the strongest point on your natural lash. As your lashes grow out, so do the extensions. At about 2 - 3 weeks some of the lash extension will be sitting in the middle of your natural lash or no longer on the base which will droop your lashes and cause stress on the natural lash. If you do not come in for infills or have the extensions removed it will become too heavy for your natural lash to hold therefore this can cause your natural lashes to snap causing gaps in your lash line. Maintaining the health of your lashes is our #1 priority. We will not apply extensions to damaged lashes.

Can a different glue be used if I’ve previously had an allergic reaction to lashes?

A key ingredient used in all lash adhesives is cyanoacrylate. If you are allergic to this you will have a reaction with all lash adhesives including sensitivity adhesive. We offer a patch test before your appointment to see if an allergic reaction occurs.
